Introduction
BareFoot International Limited is a company dealing with agricultural inputs, including fertilizers, seeds, agrochemicals, and farm equipment in Tanzania. BareFoot International Limited distributes agro-input products through a network of Sales Agronomists who reach all regions of Tanzania.
BareFoot International Limited is looking for an Inventory Controller who will be responsible for managing and overseeing the inventory and ensuring that all stock levels are maintained at optimal levels. The main goal is to efficiently manage inventory to support the sales and distribution of agricultural inputs.
Duties and Responsibilities
⦿ Responsible for managing inventory for BareFoot’s products and ensuring optimal stock levels.
⦿ Develop and maintain accurate inventory records and reports.
⦿ Remain informed on inventory management best practices and technological developments.
⦿ Coordinate with sales and distribution teams to ensure timely delivery of customer orders.
⦿ Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards in inventory management.
⦿ Identify and resolve any discrepancies in inventory records promptly.
Qualifications
⦿ Diploma in Inventory Management, Supply Chain Management, or related fields.
⦿ Must be detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
⦿ Must have basic computer skills and proficiency in inventory management software.
⦿ Must be willing to adopt an extensive travel schedule if required.
⦿ Positive team-first attitude to excel in a fast-paced team environment
